What Egusin® Does
Neutralizes Gastric Acid:
- Antacids- are known to be gastric acid neutraliziers, providing instant and sustained neutralization of excess corrosive gastric acid to protect the stomach lining against destruction.
Protects/Coats Gastric Mucosa:
- Pectin acts as a barrier for the gastric mucosal membranes against excess gastric acid.
- Beta-glucan gels in the stomach, acting as a coating for the stomach lining.
- Lecithin- a phospholipid proven to protect the hydrophobic lining of the gastric mucosal membranes and epithelial surfaces against destruction from corrosive gastric acid and aid in re-establishing the stomach lining. Lecithin also contains natural antioxidants which aid in protecting the muscle cells from degradation.
Stabilizes Intestinal Function:

Egusin was recommended by the vet. Before use, horse was prone to mild colic. Since use- no episodes of colic. Rechecked by the vet (holistic vet) and he felt the problem was resolved.

I treated horse in Jan. 2012 for ulcers. Horse tested positive on ulcer acupuncture points. Dull coat & nervous behavior, sensitive, highly reactive, picky eater.
